Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.
Min = $91,359.84
Mid = $118,767.80
Max = $146,175.75

Summary:

The RN Preceptor is committed to lifelong learning with a spirit of inquiry and a sense of duty to provide compassionate, high quality patient care.The Super Preceptor is an upskilled preceptor with enhanced knowledge. They are resource experts, promoting best practices while serving as a mentor on the unit for the new RN graduate. In their role, they round on the floor to support both preceptors and orientees in delivering quality nursing care through educational, social, and emotional support.


Responsibilities:
In collaboration with assigned preceptor, provides coaching through challenges and common problems. Identify issues or concerns and facilitate resolution.

Initiates resources when signs of stress are identified; to promote self-care and wellness.

 Identifies knowledge gaps and provide just in time education. Build confidence and support team members to seek out best practices. Find solutions to patient care challenges and empower new graduates.

Develop and mentor professional practice ready nurses. Review TSAM phases/level of training and assist preceptor to monitor progress.

Manages documentation appropriately of encounters in approved tracking method.

Provides teaching and training to evidence-based standards in a learning environment.

Attends additional training as assigned and or required.

Other duties assigned. 


Minimum Required

  • BSN,
  • Preferred: MSN or Doctor of Nursing
  • 3+ yrs experience
  • Active preceptor experience in the past 12 months.
  • BLS and ACLS Certified
