Work Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:30 pm - 6:30 am
Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Mid = $42.17
Max = $50.61
Summary:
The MRI Technologist performs MRI exams with competence and quality in a Stroke accredited facility; operates MRI equipment on pre-mature neo-natal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, to produce diagnostic scans.
Responsibilities:
Performs routine and emergent MRI examinations including obtaining and documenting pertinent patient history, explaining the procedures to the patient, answering the patient's questions, and gaining the patient's written consent; checks EMR for related study information and appropriateness criteria of study requested. Performs ordered studies in accordance with Standards of practice; uses safe MRI practices according to ACR regulations and licensing restrictions while using "common sense" approaches to everyday issues. Works closely with the Radiologists and other inter and intra departmental healthcare team members to ensure proper delivery of coordinated services, to include assisting in other modalities. Exercises fiscal responsibility by ensuring proper inventory control, as defined by the department CRC. Coaches and mentors newly reported Radiologic Technologists and Diagnostic Imaging Associates (i.e. agency, seasonal, transfers, new hires) and students. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Associates Degree OR Graduate of qualifying Program (AMA, JCERT, etc.)
- 2+ years experience
