Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.
Min = $62,613.875
Mid = $78,267.344
Summary:
The Contract Analyst reflects the purpose, pillars and values of Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC), adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The essential purpose of this job position is to provide legal support services for system procurement and contracting. This generally includes review of contracts for goods and services, and administration/management of the contracting process. The Contract Analyst will work closely with leaders in YRMC’ s matrixed organization to ensure successful contracting outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Apply critical thinking, triage problems and questions effectively, communicate clearly and concisely, understand and apply best practices.
Assist in the ongoing development, implementation, and administration of a system wide plan for procurement (contracting for the purchase of goods and services).
Key procurement responsibilities are to review and manage contracts, requiring:
Knowledge of routine contract drafting and commercial legal issues, with good judgment in identifying legal issues requiring elevation and resolution by appropriate attorney;
Ability to review and resolve contract issues and concerns in relation to core YRMC contracting positions;
Ability to maintain and manage YRMC template contracts, and recommend changes based on procurement process changes;
Compliance with the YRMC procurement process and providing education in relation to same to affected leaders and associates;
Strong working relationships with internal YRMC leaders to support and effectuate the contracting process;
Process contracts received for legal review ensuring budget and capital purchase requirements are met/followed, final contract terms are reasonable and acceptable, and that final contracts are executed by authorized leaders;
Utilization of MediTract, an electronic contract compliance resource, that houses and organizes YRMC contracts.

Education:
Essential:
* ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE
Other information:
Required:
2 or 4 year college degree, including paralegal studies.
Two (2) years’ experience as paralegal in law firm or corporate setting, with contract/commercial experience.
Ability to handle multiple projects and problems at one time with poise and skill.
Ability to take direction, but also operate independently and be proactive.
Preferred:
4 year college degree.
Health care related experience.
Experience with MediTract software application.
