Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Mid = $23.37
Max = $27.66

Summary:

The AHEC Administrative Assistant provides administrative, logistical, and data management support for the Area Health Education Center (AHEC). This role is essential in maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and supporting program implementation. Reporting to the AHEC Director, the Administrative Assistant ensures operational efficiency and compliance with reporting standards while advancing the mission of improving access to health careers and services in underserved communities.


Responsibilities:

Data Management & Reporting Collect, input, and maintain program data in compliance with grant and institutional reporting requirements. Generate routine reports and summaries using databases and spreadsheets. Ensure accuracy and completeness of records across activities and partner sites.

Administrative & Operational Support Assist with scheduling, recordkeeping, meeting logistics, and filing. Prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and maintain documentation as needed. Respond to routine correspondence and requests for information.

Event & Program Logistics Coordinate logistics for events, trainings, and presentations including venue arrangements, materials preparation, and registration tracking. Assist with set-up and support during in-person or virtual events.

Outreach & Communication Support outreach to schools, students, and community partners via phone, email, and printed materials. Assist with maintaining communication lists and tracking engagement.

Other Duties as Assigned Support internal quality improvement projects and assist with special assignments.


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Equivalency
  • Three (3) years of administrative or program support experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in public health, education, or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with data entry and basic reporting practices.
